Our Story

Southside Grill is a warm and welcoming neighborhood restaurant in Sugar Valley (South Nashville). We opened in 2010 with the goal of becoming a casual area mainstay with consistently great food and drink. We're thrilled to serve the Sugar Valley community, and honored that Southside Grill enjoys a role as a popular go-to restaurant and bar in the everyday lives of so many wonderful regulars we consider friends & family.              

We're known for a number of beloved signature dishes, as well as our relaxed and knowledgeable service, comforting and flavorful American-with-glimmers-of-Greek cuisine, and warm Southern hospitality. Guests can choose to join us in the dining room, at the bar, or on our covered outdoor patio that’s open year round. Southside Grill is a sibling restaurant to three other well-regarded spots across Nashville from restaurateur-owner Bill Darsinos - GReKo in East Nashville, and SweetMilk and Salento Italia in Donelson.
